In the Last Five Months....

an incredible amount has happened. We celebrated a wonderful Fourth of July in Baudette, The Man came home for R and R, Baby Foo arrived, Moose turned 3 and is now potty training, and we just recently celebrated Halloween! It has been an incredible whirlwind lately... as now we are preparing for The Man coming home from Iraq!

In the months since The Man left for this second deployment, there was alot to deal with. An entire pregnancy alone, Monkey's "halfway" diagnoses, Moose's anxiety issues and then the birth of our final child. Time felt as if it was moving so incredibly slow, but now as the end grows near, I look back and feel as if it flew! We are all getting so excited! Moose and Monkey wear their "Daddy pins" with pride, and Moose tells everyone that he can that "he will be living with Daddy again". I am so excited for the moment we see The Man standing in the gym and for the first time he holds his daughter in his arms.

Today was a beautiful day at the lake. It was cloudy and dreary and immensely humid until about 2:30 pm... and then the sun came out for a visit! Mom and my brother arrived a bit earlier, so we all trooped outside to set up the screen tent. I popped Monkey into the exersaucer and handed Moose the bubble gun... and we went to work. Well... my mom went to work and I swatted flies... lol. We ended up getting it set up and then getting the table and benches inside just in time for a much needed swim!

By the end of the day today Moose was so beat he just cried hysterically until I ended up making some popcorn and he passed out in gramma's lap. Monkey is of course still awake, but I think we are going to catch a couple zzzz's. Ahhhh..... Goodnight.
