Homeschooling

We are a homeschooling family.  For now I homeschool Gage, and we love it!  Bo and Cote receive educational services with their Early Special Education Teacher, in the comfort of our home. 

Our style of homeschooling is one which is called "Secular Homeschooling", meaning we do not use religious curriculum.  We are not homeschooling for religious reasons and use no religious materials in our studies. 

We do however, fully support the homeschooling families that do choose a religious path for their children's education.  We all just want what's best for our children, and sometimes that means doing something different than what every one else is doing.

We also support the families that send their children to public school.  No one way is perfect for every child.  We have just found that this is the best fit for our family.

You will see me write a lot about homeschooling, as this year we begin First Grade!  I will try and keep everyone up to date as to what our school schedule looks like, as well as our curriculum.
