This morning, Gage started waking me up at 2:30am. Keith thought maybe if we unplugged everything, he may just get so bored he would go back to bed. That is exactly what we did, and that is exactly what he did not do. The first time I woke, was to have a fat little finger being put in my nostril. The next time was to my bedroom light being turned on. Next to fingers in between my toes. After that, to my bedroom light being turned on again. Each time I would direct him back to his bed, and each time he would quietly squeak out.
I finally gave up and brought him downstairs. I plugged in the TV and PS3, sent Gage to go potty, and laid on the couch to see if I would get to doze a bit. Let's just say I did. As soon as Gage had access to his game, I was left completely alone. Which brings me to the question...
What to do? Do I accept my child is waking up at 2:00am and playing PS3 for hours, yet I am getting sleep or do I keep everything unplugged and fight with him for hours?
