While Rachel is off with Gage at his first skating lesson (yay Gage!!) I get to take Bo and Cote to therapy. Today is OT and Speech for both kids. We had to get dropped off a little bit early so Rachel had time to get Gage to his lesson so I got to hang out in the waiting room with the Littles. Bo is in "never stop moving" mode and Cote is made every time I set her down. This means I have to chase Bo, who is knocking on the office door, while holding Cote, who seems pretty upset that we are not sitting and cuddling. I finally put them both on my lap only to have them start fighting...sibling rivalry is alive and well in this family. I stop Bo from biting Cote only to have Cote grab his hair and attempt to pull it. I am out-gunned by the Burr kids and so excited when it is time for their therapy to start. It was awesome to watch Cote pass the ball back and forth with Miss Meri in OT. Bo was also awesome in OT. He did some walking with Miss Meri helping him and he was pulling himself up to a stand. No matter how many times he does it I still love to see it...it amazes me how far he's come. In Speech Therapy Miss Justine decided to give the kids pickles...yes pickles! They are both making progress with chewing different foods. They have also come a long way toward accepting foods with lumpier texture. With therapy done it's time for the Littles and I to go back to the waiting room and sit with Rachel while Gage has OT.
