Thursday Evening and Night. Calm Before the Storm?

Nothing spectacular or world shattering happened. Sort of a repeat from the afternoon, except I have a cranky Bo on my hands. Gage did really good as well, besides the fact that he had to take two warm baths. It was by far an extremely relaxing day, and I think we were all needing one.

For dinner I made a pot of chicken and vegetable soup, and everyone ate it very nicely. Not sure what I have done to deserve such a night, but either it was really good, or this is the calm before the storm.

After dinner we go in the living room and work on our floor exercises. With Cote I work on her core strength. We do this in the Bilibo seat as well as on the medicine ball and across my legs. After that she and I work on her transition from laying to sitting. With Bo I work on core strength with the medicine ball and then transitioning from kneeling to standing. With Gage we work on "the wheelbarrow" for hand dexterity, we put on his skates and have him walk around the living room to work on ankle strength, and then we do pressure massage with the medicine ball. After this we all load up to the table to work on homework. I get some worksheets for Gage and some paper and crayons for the Littles. I am a little curious to see what happens.

Gage's SPD has affected his fine motor, so everyday we have to work on things like scissoring, holding a pencil, buttoning, zippering, ect. I will say that he has been getting better and better and just the other day he buttoned his pants for the first time! We work on everything for about 30 minutes and decide to clean up... Cote's teeth are red and Bo's side of the table is blue. I am pleased though and know in my heart that it could have gone a lot worse.

After that is all done, it is about 7:30pm and I have high hopes that everyone will crash and burn a little early tonight. I get three pairs of fresh jammies, two diapers and an overnight pull-up and get to work getting everyone changed and warm drinks prepared! After everyone is done with their drinks, I go ahead and get them settled in bed. It is 8:30pm right now, so you never know.

9:00pm and everyone is officially passed out. Thank goodness because I feel like the walking dead right now. Things have not been going the best for me lately. To be honest, even if I got 12 hours of sleep a night, I don't really know if I would feel any better.

Anywho, I am going to go and try and get some rest... good night and happy thoughts ;)
